So as you may know, we have a very active free Facebook Group with over 9,000 members. We discuss a lot of interesting and useful stuff about SEO, Niche Building, Content, Link Building, etc. I have shared below the main questions discussed in Feb 2019 so that you may benefit too.

Question by Brent Jacbos

I cannot believe my eyes… You guys are in a group with one of the best affiliate marketeers i’ve ever seen (Russell Lobo), yet you guys are not taking advantage of it?

So I’ll do exactly that!

Now, Russell Lobo

At what point do you outsource most of your stuff, and what do you outsource?

Do you build links yourself – do you use vendors, or do you outsource outreach?

What is your opinion on CTR manipulation?

How important is site speed for SEO, and how do you optimize it – analyze it?

Answer by Russell Lobo

Thank you for your kind words Brent Jacobs. I appreciate it and am humbled. Also thank you for mentioning me the other day on the niche hack group. To answer your questions:

At what point do you outsource most of your stuff, and what do you outsource?: I started building sites in late 2015 and by mid 2016 I crossed the 5 figure mark. After that I built an in-house team. So you can say I started outsourcing content by mid 2016 or once my sites total income crossed 10k. If I would be doing it today, I would outsource faster. For my new sites, content and link building is done for my sites by my team right from the first day.

Do you build links yourself – do you use vendors, or do you outsource outreach? – I have a team of 3 link builders – http://www.russlobo.com/guest-post-outreach-services/

What is your opinion on CTR manipulation? – It gives great results with the same money invested so I make sure all my titles, descriptions, toc, review schemas, buy buttons are CTR optimized

How important is site speed for SEO, and how do you optimize it – analyze it? – Depending on the niche it is very important. I use https://tools.pingdom.com/ to understand where the site is lagging and then use plugins/better themes/edit themes to improve the speed.

Question by Phyllis Bryant-Robinson

I remember one time you said that you did 1000 post on your blog and it really got some traffic! Do you think that will still work?

Answer by Russell Lobo

Hi Phyllis Bryant-Robinson, Yes, in 2016 I started a 1,000 post website i.e. I wrote 1,000 small posts in one month. It will still work depending on your objectives. If I am reviewing an expensive product where the buyer has to shell out thousands of dollars, I write detailed reviews. If I am reviewing say a $10/- article then a 200 word article is more than enough.

Question by Noa Ga Noa

How do you maintain google rankings?

Answer by Russell Lobo

Write excellent content, try to perfect your on-page and technical seo, build links and network in your niche, keep updating the content 🙂

Question by Phyllis

What is the secret to finding high volume key words with low allintitle? Is it just luck?

Answer by Russell Lobo

Russell Lobo We have analyzed over 100,000 keywords for KGR and have found that even though some keywords have very low allintitle, the posts dont appear in the serps as Google picks articles which have better content/links. I’ll be writing a detailed post on how to best identify and use KGR.

Question by Lloyd Hester:

IT must be my age but I cannot remember the search engine that has the video background of a man in a jumper with a beard that gives you questions and long tail keywords related to a search that are being asked. I asked this question before and have forgotten again 🙁
